![]() Just as in drag racing the 60' is everything. I think a high winding engine would require the 350 to operate over too large of a rpm range. I will run in 4 low so a 10.76 final drive ratio should help the hole shot but in a race that is only 150' I think the engine should be a torque engine and use 1-2-3 gears. It will be my daily driver but I am going to run it in the stock mud drag class. It has a 208 transfer case (2.62) and 4.11s and 33" tall tires. How much compression do I dare run? The rest of the truck again is 700r4 Stock but getting 5000rpm govener and maybe a 2000 stall. The ram jet 350 makes 400lbs and I would like to make similar tq but with worse heads. Also I am thinking about 1.6 rockers only to allow the engine to breath a bit better since the cam is so mild. They want $50 for them maybe a bit much? I may bump the compression my milling the heads to 74cc (9.25 to 1) but since this is in a 4000+ truck I don't want it to ping when towing. I am thinking of some 441s that have a full port and 2.02/1.60s, over Kill?. ![]() The current heads are 624s with some mild porting and 1.94/1.50 valves. 462ex 112 lobe c/l, Balanced rotating assembly, performer eps, 670 holley. 00 square decked, H345 Flat top pistons, speed pro hydr roller 198 In 210 ex at. I am trying to get the most torque from a 350 chevy. Ok I waited a week to ask some more not exactly camaro but is for sure chevy and may fit your camaro's needs. ![]()
